The position requires the Busser to serve patrons by cleaning tables in order to provide friendly and excellent service to every guest while adhering to sanitation and safety policies
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash.
Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths.
Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning.
Fill beverage or ice dispensers.
Ensure cleanliness of the dining rooms and other areas.
Ensure cleanliness of dinnerware.
Serve beverages, water and other drinks.
Set up dining tables as requested.
Stack and un-stack chairs and put tables in order.
Set up and maintain the Expo area
Follow the cleaning calendar
Clean the restrooms and ensure they are maintained and stocked. Check restrooms every 30 minutes to ensure cleanliness during peak hours.
Clean the back dock are and keep it organized.
Clean and maintain the chemical area and keep it organized.
Interact and coordinate with hosts and service staff to ensure effective service.
Maintain best practices in maintaining cleanliness in bussing services.
Listen to and comprehends instructions from guests and coworkers over background restaurant
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma preferred with the ability to work a flexible schedule (late shifts, weekends, or holidays).
Must be at least 18 or older
Requirements and Skills
Liquor License certified is mandatory
Food server certificate required
Ability to effectively communicate in English and Spanish
