Position Description Cleaning Services Workers are responsible for keeping restrooms, lobbies, hallways, offices, public areas, foyers, loading dock, terrace/plaza areas, meeting rooms, exhibition halls and seating areas safe, sanitized, and in a well stocked condition by performing the below duties.
This is a Union position with the SEIU-USWW.
Shift:
3rd shift -11:00pm to 7:30am (must be available fours, including Friday, Saturday & Sunday). Pay starting at $20.16 + $1.00 differential.
Compensation:
$20.16 per hour (paid on a bi-weekly basis). Per the terms of the collective bargaining agreement, employees assigned to the third shift, as defined in Section 7.5, shall receive $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Key Duties and Responsibilities- Check and make certain that restrooms are sanitary, well stocked with paper products.
- Assists in gum removal and squeegee/mopping up liquids and emptying trash containers in all areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms, lobbies, foyers, loading dock, terrace/plaza areas, meeting rooms, exhibitions halls, and exterior entrances.
- Clean and maintain all windows, glass chrome and stainless steel in the building (except for "high" glass).
- Stock, organize, and clean janitorial closets.
- Answers guests' questions regarding the facility.
- Maintain proper care of uniforms, equipment, and supplies.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs, office space, lobbies, foyer, meeting rooms and exhibit halls.
- Empty trash containers.
- Safely operate assigned Event Operations equipment upon successful completion of equipment training. Types of equipment employees may be assigned to operate could include buffer, power sweeping and scrubbing equipment, vacuum cleaners, carpet shampooing equipment and extractors, trash compactor, cardboard baler, forklift, scissor lift, boom lift and electric cart. No prior experience required. All staff are trained prior to being assigned tasks and equipment.
