Description:

OverviewNegotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers and prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies for customer-relatedbusiness processes or for internal use as a generalist or in a combination of Purchasing Disciplines.Major Position Responsibilities

  • Manages procurement and purchasing operations and implements the strategy to provide the materials and services to meet organizational requirements for quality, volume, availability, and pricing.
  • Maintains strategic supplier relationships, negotiates contracts, and implements systems for monitoring performance, assessing risk, and responding to changes in demand or disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Collaborates with other functions to define current and future inventory requirements and manage inventory levels.
  • Implements processes and systems and utilizes technical tools to analyze data and increase responsiveness to material demands.
  • Oversees auditing processes to ensure procurement and recordkeeping comply with any applicable industry or governmental regulations.
  • Leads and manages the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers.Basic QualificationsRequired Education: Associate's Degree or Equivalent combination of relevant education & experience.Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in business, Supply Chain Management or related degree.Years and Area of Experience: 7-8 years experience.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Leadership skills, decision-making skills, oral and written communication skills, analytical thinking skills, detail-oriented, ability to meet deadlines.Critical Professional Related Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Pay Range (USD)$100,100.00 - $185,900.00Pay Transparency StatementThe salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.
