The Recruiter will focus on high-volume recruiting for frontline hourly non-exempt positions while supporting department initiatives to meet hiring goals. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with hiring managers, building and maintaining strong candidate pipelines, and ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.

Key Responsibilities
Recruiting for Frontline Positions: Focus on hiring for high-volume, hourly, non-exempt roles.
Maintain and develop pipeline of eligible candidates for future open positions
Conduct interviews via phone or in-person
Qualify or reject candidates based on interview feedback and resume reviews
Serve as contact person for questions from candidates during the hiring process
Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies.
Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management: Maintain proficiency in the ATS, ensuring accurate candidate status updates. Post positions and screen candidates from various recruitment channels.
Interview Coordination: Support hiring managers in scheduling interviews and assessments.
Offer and Onboarding Support: Prepare offer letters, status change forms, and relevant HR/Payroll documentation. Partner with HR to ensure a seamless pre-employment and onboarding experience.
Process Improvement: Maintain up-to-date and standardized job descriptions. Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to update screening questions and document processes and procedures.
Outreach Initiatives: Represent the company at job fairs and hiring events to attract top talent.
KPI Tracking: Assist in tracking key recruitment metrics and data to drive continuous improvement.
Administrative Support
Maintain timely and accurate recruitment status for all candidates in the ATS.
Provide regular and timely updates and communication with direct manager, hiring managers, team members, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Human Resources or a related field is a plus.
Minimum of two years working experience as a recruiter or recruiting coordinator, preferably in high-volume recruiting for hourly, non-exempt roles.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Valid state driver's license and auto insurance; must use own vehicle for local travel.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Working experience with applicant tracking systems is preferred.
Prior experience in the janitorial or facilities services industry is a plus.
Familiarity with California labor laws, including hiring and anti-discrimination practices.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and discretion when handling sensitive information.
