As a real estate development and management firm, we are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team in Sorrento Valley and take ownership of our entire payroll process. Your Mission:

  • Orchestrate Seamless Payroll: Manage all aspects of payroll processing, from calculating taxes and deductions to ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Champion Compliance: Stay ahead of wage and hourly law updates and ensure adherence to all federal and state regulations.
  • Empower Employees: Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries, resolving issues with speed and accuracy.
  • Optimize Processes: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Handle sensitive employee information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.

Are You the Ideal Candidate?

  • Do you have an associate's degree in accounting, business, human resources, or a related field?
  • Do you possess 2+ years of experience in payroll processing?
  • Are you proficient in Microsoft Excel, with a knack for conditional formulas and data analysis?
  • Do you have a strong knowledge of payroll cycle and applicable laws?
  • Are you detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment?

Your Expertise Will Include:

  • Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong data entry skills with exceptional accuracy.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll principles and regulations.
  • Familiarity with Federal Form W-2 and ACA reporting.

Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.
