Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: San Diego, CA 92127 (Rancho Bernardo)

Schedule: 9/80 (Every other Friday off) – Fully onsite

Pay: $45-55/hr.

Duration: 6 months with potential for extension (no guarantee of conversion)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 6+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition and recruitment
• Strong track record of role longevity with minimal employment gaps

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple candidate pipelines, ensuring smooth progression through the recruitment process
• Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, create requisitions, and develop sourcing strategies
• Identify, attract, and pre-screen qualified candidates for technical positions
• Provide consultative guidance to hiring managers and candidates, enhancing the recruitment experience
• Develop and implement targeted sourcing strategies using various online platforms and recruitment tools
• Collaborate with internal teams and external sourcing partners to optimize hiring outcomes
• Represent the company's employer brand, fostering positive relationships with candidates and external partners
• Assist in negotiating job offers and developing competitive compensation packages
• Conduct background checks and ensure compliance with hiring policies
• Support employment advertising campaigns and external recruitment initiatives
• Contribute to college recruiting, affirmative action programs, and career development initiatives
• Effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Perform additional duties as needed
