Description:

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a temporary HR Assistant to join their client's team in San Diego, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further their career in human resources by supporting the HR department with various tasks and projects.


The pay is $20 to $23 per hour. This is a full-time, onsite position. The schedule is Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and maintaining candidate records.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing necessary documentation and coordinating orientation sessions.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HR database to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in organizing company events and training sessions.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive HR information.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an HR support role
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
