Description:

Our client, a leading healthcare organization dedicated to advancing patient care and safety, is looking for a contract Inventory Clerk. This is a fully onsite role located in San Diego, CA requiring an open and flexible schedule as you will be put on shifts based on filling team gaps. Example: 1 day could be Morning shift, 2nd day could be Evening Shift. Must be flexible to accommodate this.

Contract Duration: 6-Months

What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities:

  • Inventories supply areas and maintain inventory availability based upon min/max levels, consumption, and demand needs of the customer and according to prescribed routes within specified time frames.
  • Maintains organized, clean, and labeled supply areas.
  • Rotates and restocks supply shelves, checking for and removing outdated supplies.
  • Responds to customer needs and requests for stock and non-stock supplies.
  • Documents, tracks, and performs data entry related to product/linen usage.
  • Assists with inventory management in the Central Distribution & Receiving area including putaways, cycle counting, and express issues.
  • Uses handheld devices to take inventory and track package delivery.
  • Verifies accuracy of stock/part number, unit of issue, and quantity.
