Position Overview:

Under general supervision, Retail Associates provide guidance and education to customers regarding their marijuana needs. They assist patients to ensure they receive the correct medication suited to their specific illness and medical condition. In adult-use markets, Retail Associates are expected to deliver excellent customer service and support the company's values and culture. They work closely with the dispensing facility leadership in a fast-paced environment with evolving systems and processes.

Major Areas of Responsibility include:

  1. Properly complete and file all intake forms and paperwork, then enter relevant information into company databases for future reference.
  2. Confirm patient purchase limits prior to entry into the consultation area and dispensary.
  3. Provide exceptional customer care by fostering positive relations.
  4. Respond to customer inquiries via calls or emails about products, training, and information.
  5. Manage patient records using state and company databases.
  6. Maintain and update databases as needed.
  7. Fulfill customer orders efficiently.
  8. Promote and sell all products responsibly.
  9. Build and uphold trust and integrity for specific products.

Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities):

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • At least two years of direct customer service experience required.
  • Retail experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Point-of-Sale systems.
  • Proficiency with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Outlook.

Pay: $17.15 per hour, plus benefits

Travel %: 0

FLSA status: Non-exempt

Additional Abilities Required:

  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, use hands for manual tasks, and lift/move up to 10 pounds (or more with assistance). Effective verbal communication with co-workers, customers, vendors. Moderate noise level expected.
