The Stein Adult Day Programs serve individuals that have developmental disabilities to teach them basic life skills by supervising them on daily "outings" and activities. The work environment is challenging but rewarding. We are a caring organization with room for advancement. We have Adult Day Programs in Chula Vista, La Mesa, Kearny Mesa and San Diego.
POSITION
The Adult Day Program Aide is responsible for the delivery of direct services of consumers and staff of the Adult Education Program. The Adult Day Program Aide assists clients in building basic living skills through community-based activities, such as using public transportation, making purchases and working at a vocational site. HOURS
Work hours are Mon-Fri (Mon/Wed/Fri from 8AM - 2PM) (Tue/Thu 8AM-3:15PM) a total of 32.5 hours per week.
PAY
Position starts at $17.80 per hour
Please note - applicants with directly related experience and/or education may begin at a higher rate of pay.
Current Vista Hill employees in this job title for 2025 are paid $17.80 - $23.00 per hour.
BENEFITS
Employees working over 30 hours a week receive employer-paid benefits, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off (vacation and sick leave), paid holidays, employer-paid retirement contribution and clinical supervision (if applicable). Some programs qualify for student loan forgiveness programs.
Employees who work less than 30 hours a week do not qualify for healthcare benefits.
