Job Description

Provides responsive and high-quality customer service to promote positive impressions. Works efficiently as a team member, taking initiative to perform tasks, resolve problems, and ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Process cash, credit card, and meal card transactions.
• Assist with stocking and replenishing inventory and food items.
• Maintain clean work areas and equipment.
• Deliver quality customer service while complying with policies and standards.
• Use interpersonal skills to build customer confidence.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and peers.
• Follow all safety and company policies and regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required; related experience or training preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. A Food Handler certificate from San Diego County is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand English; follow instructions.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Common-sense reasoning ability.
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment and utensils.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and handle objects.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a food production area with exposure to food fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, humid and hot conditions, and cleaning chemicals. Noise level is moderate.

Background Check

A background check is required after a conditional offer, including verification of education, employment, criminal records, and possibly credit or motor vehicle reports.
