Harmonium operates programs throughout San Diego, and all staff are considered multi-site workers and may be asked to sub or move to another site based on the needs of the program. We are currently looking for part-time (PM shift) candidates to join schools throughout San Diego, CA.

Job Responsibilities

1. Supervise day-to-day activities of youth in the program
2. Lead enriching activities such as interactive games and arts & crafts
3. Uncover new and engaging ways to assist youth with homework

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have 6 months experience (paid or unpaid) in settings like an after school program, group child care, or babysitting elementary-aged children
• Must have 48 college units completed OR pass the District's Classroom Assistant Proficiency Exam
• Valid Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification upon hire
• Ability to travel throughout San Diego County with flexibility to meet job duties

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting rate: $20.60 per hour (all new hires start at this rate regardless of experience)

Schedule

• Afternoon shift, Monday to Friday
