The Restoration Technician performs production processes to fulfill the service needs of individual restoration projects and maintains the professional appearance of SERVPRO equipment and an assigned service vehicle. By providing quality, consistent, efficient work, the Restoration Technician represents the best in the cleanup and restoration industry. Primary Responsibilities

  1. Perform production processes, demolition, and other labor-intensive tasks.
  2. Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
  3. Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
  4. Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
  5. Communicate with restoration supervisor and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
  6. Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance.

Position Requirements

  1. Effective oral communication with basic math and computer skills.
  2. Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred.
  3. High school diploma/GED.
  4. IICRC certifications preferred.
  5. Valid driver's license.
  6. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  7. Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
  8. Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.
  9. Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
  10. Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals.
  11. Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary.
  12. Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.

Pay Rate

Starts at $18-22/hour based on experience, with the possibility of overtime pay and increases based on merit.
