Solar Atmospheres of San Diego, a NADCAP accredited company, is a leader in providing heat treating and brazing services of the highest possible quality. At Solar Atmospheres of San Diego, what we do matters and as a member of our team, what you do will matter too. We are currently looking for a Truck Driver to join our company in El Cajon, CA.

Our ideal candidate is reliable and professional with a good work ethic and a willingness to learn. Prior driving experience (CDL or non-CDL), along with shipping and receiving knowledge is preferred. We are seeking an individual that possesses good organizational skills, attention to detail, and is willing to take on other tasks as the position grows. We believe in assisting our employees by providing them guidance, training and a cooperative workplace, plus a stable and growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for helping to receive, pull and package orders for customers
• Deliver orders using a company truck, loading materials, ensuring that the materials are secured safely and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with unloading of orders at our customer's site and accurately complete required paperwork
• Assisting heat treating department if required or as needed
• Operate standard warehouse equipment such as forklift, rolling ladders, skid loaders and other material handling tools
• Use of office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier, and fax machines
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and applicable years of work-related experience
• Possess valid driver's license
• Prior driving experience preferred (CDL or Non-CDL)
• Reliable, organized and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively balance multiple tasks and priorities
• Previous warehouse or shipping and receiving experience
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift up to 50lbs and work around material handling equipment.
