Position Overview

A Property Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of 200 - 400 scattered-site residential properties, including single-family homes and multi-family buildings.

  • Salary: $75,000/year

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with department leaders to ensure optimal property management experiences
  • Monitor occupancy levels and manage onsite staff to meet owner objectives
  • Maintain positive owner relations and assist with property-specific requests
  • Resolve resident concerns and provide high-level service
  • Handle rent collections, notices, and evictions, including court attendance
  • Develop advertising and marketing strategies
  • Conduct unit inspections and manage turnovers
  • Perform property inspections and prepare reports
  • Manage leasing processes, show properties, and approve applications
  • Oversee maintenance requests and manage resident files
  • Stay informed about market conditions affecting leasing and operations
  • Respond to emergencies on call as needed
  • Manage invoices and expenses accurately and promptly
  • Perform routine property inspections

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong organizational and grammar skills
  • Ability to multitask across various duties
  • Experience in scattered-site fee management preferred
  • Proven supervisory experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 and Appfolio
  • Knowledge of California Landlord-Tenant Law
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to work evenings/weekends as needed
