Workday HRIS Manager (Contract with Permanent Potential)


Are you a Workday expert eager to make a significant impact at an industry-leading insurance company? We're seeking a proactive and strategic Workday HRIS Manager to join our team in a hybrid, 2-month contract role with the strong possibility of extension or permanent conversion.

This is your chance to be a driving force in optimizing our HR technology landscape. You'll strategically leverage Workday and other HR systems to ensure efficient processes, accurate data, and seamless integration across all HR functions. Lead exciting implementations, manage critical projects, and provide essential support that directly impacts how technology empowers our entire workforce. What You'll Do:

  • Shape HR Tech Strategy: Drive the vision and continuous refinement of our HR technology strategy, identifying growth opportunities to maximize value and ensure efficient, effective access to vital information for all stakeholders.
  • Transform HR Processes: Actively identify manual HR processes and lead their transition onto our HR technology platforms, leveraging Workday's capabilities. You'll assess technology's impact, document gaps, and recommend innovative solutions and workflows, continuously improving through retrospectives.
  • Elevate Data & Analytics: Oversee our people data analytics and reporting functionalities, ensuring leaders have accessible, accurate, and actionable information for data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead System Implementations: Manage the successful functional implementation and ongoing updates of all HR technologies, taking ownership of configuration, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Drive Project Success: Plan and execute HR technology projects and initiatives from conception to completion, skillfully managing scope, schedule, resources, and risks. You'll evaluate progress, allocate work effectively, and collaborate with IT, Finance, and HR leaders to ensure successful roadmap execution and user-centric outcomes.
  • Ensure System Health & Compliance: Participate in reviewing all HR project and system improvement requests, ensuring full identification, evaluation, testing, and alignment with strategic priorities. You'll oversee technical configuration requirements, support integrations, and provide high-quality daily support and issue resolution.
  • Champion Data Integrity & Security: Drive data integrity within HR technology systems, oversee user security, and develop robust audit, research, and resolution processes.
  • Influence Workday Governance: Actively participate in Workday Enterprise governance, ensuring proposed changes align with HR departmental priorities and the broader Workday ecosystem.


What You'll Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Organizational Behavior, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of dedicated HR experience, with a strong background in HRIS and Workday.
  • Problem-Solving Prowess: Exceptional analytical and detail-oriented approach with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive and work effectively in dynamic environments with changing demands and competing priorities.
  • Growth Mindset: A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for measuring results through data and metrics.
  • Influential Leader: Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, ensuring successful technology adoption and aligning HR processes, system functionality, and data governance with strategic goals.
  • Comprehensive HR Knowledge: Familiarity with the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including Recruiting, Onboarding, Human Capital Data, Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Integration, and Reporting.
  • Organizational & Strategic Thinking: Excellent organizational and time management skills, coupled with advanced analytical, qualitative, quantitative, and critical thinking abilities to recommend creative solutions. Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

PAY TRANSPARENCY POLICY STATEMENT

Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.

Pay Scale of Starting Pay for role: $90,000-$170,000 DOE
