Pride Health is hiring a Accessioner – 1st Shift to support our client's medical facility based in San Diego, CA 92128 .This is a 3 -month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!


Job Title: Accessioner – 1st Shift

Location: San Diego, CA 92128

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $20/hour

Duration: 3 Months+

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accessioner to join our laboratory team. The main function of this role is to receive, process, and document patient specimens—including blood, urine, and tissue—primarily focusing on blood samples. Accessioners play a vital role in ensuring that all specimens are properly cataloged and ready for analysis by lab professionals who rely on these samples for diagnosis and treatment decisions.


Key Responsibilities:

Receive and triage incoming clinical specimens.


Accurately enter and manage patient and specimen data in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).


Perform routine audits of clinical charts to ensure data integrity and compliance.


Collaborate with internal departments to support accurate and timely testing.


Maintain confidentiality and adhere to laboratory safety protocols.


Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences preferred.


0–2 years of relevant work experience; recent graduates encouraged to apply.


High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and deadlines.


Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.


Strong communication and organizational skills.
