Job Overview:

LPL Financial is seeking a visionary and strategically minded Vice President of Paid Media to join our Brand Marketing team. This leader will be responsible for shaping and modernizing our media approach, connecting brand storytelling with data-driven insights to drive measurable impact across the business. You will play a pivotal role in aligning media strategy and execution with creative excellence, marketing priorities, and business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Media Investment Strategy and Execution Priorities Launch the company's media investment function, developing the strategies, systems, processes, partnerships and reporting mechanisms to drive impactful results and measurable returns on paid media investments across all platforms. and champion a full funnel paid media strategy rooted in customer journeys, behavioral insights, and brand storytelling.
  • Agency Management & Stakeholder Collaboration Manage external media agencies and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality execution, transparency, and alignment across all media investments. Oversee the agency's development of integrated media plans across CTV, broadcast, print, social, SEM, display, and emerging channels. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure high-quality execution and alignment. Develop robust media investment forecasts, budget planning and reconciliation reporting.
  • Drive Innovation & Experimentation Serve as a thought leader and change agent who becomes our subject matter expert on advanced adtech, new media, and data-driven solutions that optimize LPL's investment in paid media. brings new ideas, tools, and ways of working to the organization. Stay up to date on changes in the ever-evolving media landscape. Foster a collaborative, insight driven culture that embraces innovation and continuous learning. Build and maintain relationships with publishers and partners across the media landscape.
  • Champion Measurement & Optimization Establish clear KPIs and measurement frameworks to evaluate media performance and continuously optimize for brand and business outcomes. Partner with analytics teams and agency partners to define KPIs, measurement frameworks, and execute on optimization strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in media investment strategy, planning, and activation across digital and traditional channels.
  • 4+ years in a management role at media agencies, publishers or adtech companies and/or managing agency partners.
  • Proven success in integrated marketing communications, with a strong understanding of the interplay between paid, owned, earned, and social media.
  • Deep expertise in B2B and B2C media investment strategy, ideally within financial services or similarly regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated experience in shaping media investment systems and processes, including analytics, measurement frameworks, and the ability to translate data into actionable. insights
  • Experience with communications planning, paid media activations, investment negotiations, trafficking and building data-led holistic media strategies that connect content, commerce, and customer behavior.
  • Extensive knowledge of and informed perspectives on adtech applications and media research and planning tools (e.g., ComScore, GWI, Kantar, Pathmatics, MRI).

Pay Range:

$125,775-$209,625/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
