Position Summary
Leads and directs the Process Safety Engineering function for the San Diego Plant. Optimizes CPK's process safety performance by helping to develop and implementing process safety standards and initiatives that assist the San Diego Plant in achieving world class Process Safety excellence. Identifies, manages, directs, and audits the process safety systems required to limit risk factors leading to process related incidents, including environmental mishaps, compliance violations, job-related injury or illness, property damage, and adverse public relations. Supports operations process safety efforts at the direction of the plant manager and Platform Process Safety Manager. Participates as a functional expert and resource for the plant as it relates to the process safety related functions. This role requires you to be on site 5 days a week.
