Title: Accounting Manager
Compensation: 120-1245k (DOE)
Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid)

Our client, a leading SaaS company in San Diego, is seeking an Accounting Manager who's excited to move from public accounting to an industry role where you can truly make an impact. This is a great opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in a dynamic, innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain compliance with US GAAP
• Lead and mentor a small team, bringing your collaborative and coaching mindset from public accounting
• Support external audits and work closely with internal stakeholders
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and drive efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred
• Big 4 or other public accounting experience strongly preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including time spent in public accounting, with 1-2 years in a leadership capacity
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
