Piper Companies is seeking a Master Linux System Administrator to join a DoD consulting company. This position is onsite in San Diego, CA.

Essential Duties of the Master Linux System Administrator:

1. Install, configure, and support LAN, WAN, and Internet systems or segments of a network system.
2. Monitor network to ensure availability to all users and perform necessary maintenance.
3. Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between hardware and software.
4. Administer network security measures.

Qualifications of the Master Linux System Administrator:

1. Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience, Associate's degree with 6 years of experience, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
2. Must obtain and maintain an active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
3. Strong Linux experience.
4. Security+ Certification required.

Compensation for the Master Linux System Administrator:

1. $150,000 - $165,000 based on experience.
2. One day hybrid work flexibility.
