Pay Range

Range provided by Aurora San Diego Hospital: $49,920.00/yr - $62,400.00/yr. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience. Discuss with your recruiter for more details.

Hourly Pay

$24/hr to $30/hr

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' stage and extent of substance use and co-occurring mental health issues
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Conduct didactic and group sessions for substance use and dual diagnosis issues
• Communicate progress with referral sources and relevant parties
• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up
• Participate in departmental and clinical meetings
• Support and develop clinical programs and services
• Provide backup support to the Needs Assessment and Referral Department
• Engage in professional growth activities

Skills

• Experience in individual and group therapy
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Proficiency in treatment planning and documentation
• Public speaking skills; adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality
• Ability to maintain therapeutic relationships and manage volatile situations

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• CADC, SUDCC Certification, or current RADT, SUDRC
• Experience with adults and adolescents with substance use and co-occurring disorders preferred
