Description

The role involves operating and maintaining IT assets within a JWICS/VTC environment, coordinating with support personnel, and managing user accounts in a SCIF.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain Information Technology assets such as JWICS workstations and Video Teleconference (VTC) equipment; schedule VTCs using the JWICS scheduler; coordinate with technical support personnel to troubleshoot or report issues; create/delete/maintain user accounts.
  • Plan and schedule all required inspection and accreditation activities to ensure continuous access to the SCIF for planning and operations.
  • Maintain workstations in compliance with IA, FISMA, and CSWF standards and ensure accreditation documentation is available for the SCIF.
  • Serve as a Communications Security Material Systems (CMS) user and manage COMSEC regulations, including receiving, documenting, tracking, inventorying, and destroying COMSEC material per guidelines.
  • Coordinate daily SCIF operations and serve as a conduit to the Special Security Representative (SSR); interface between current and future SCIF Tenants.
  • Provide CAC access to users as granted by the SSR; maintain accountability of personnel in the SCIF; ensure SCI material is maintained and destroyed per DoD instructions; report SCI security incidents to the SSR.
  • Maintain the SCIF calendar of events and meetings.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience: Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and zero (0) years or more experience; 4 additional and applicable years or more experience in lieu of degree acceptable.
  • Minimum of four (4) years or more experience with classified network systems administration.
  • Experience collaborating as a team in a classified facility environment.
  • Windows 10/11 Certification desired.

Security Clearance

  • US Citizen with an active TS/SCI.

  • Ability to work with and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, government technical representatives, and other supporting contractors.
  • Excellent written and oral communications.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to brief senior government personnel.
  • Ability to explore and examine data from multiple disparate sources to address business problems.

Desired Skills and Certifications

  • Degree in Science, Engineering or Math.

Compensation

Target salary range $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
