Field Service Engineer - Must have CNC Experience

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to support major clients with installations, assembly, and servicing of CNC, Lathe, and Mills. The role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of complex machinery at customer sites, including assembly, leveling, aligning, adjusting, calibrating, and PLC integration.

The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to ensure optimal system performance, providing exceptional customer service and technical support. The position offers a car allowance, paid travel mileage, and covered flights for travel beyond two and a half hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and service CNC, Lathe, and Mills, including PLC controls.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery and controls.
• Provide technical support and training to clients.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve product performance.
• Document service activities accurately.

Qualifications

• Experience in machinery installation and assembly, specifically CNC, Lathes, and Mills.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Familiarity with PLC controls, electrical diagrams, and calibration.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for service management.
• Knowledge of multi-axis machining and software installation.
• This role involves travel within the San Diego area and nationwide.
