Overview

Sigma Defense Systems LLC is seeking a former Surface Warfare Officer for a position on our Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) Team in San Diego, CA as a Surface Warfare Program Analyst. The role supports SMWDC Headquarters in capability assessments across all SMWDC-owned mission area capabilities, contributes to the enhancement of warfare training, and helps increase the lethality and tactical proficiency of the Surface Force.

Base pay range: $110,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr. This range is provided by Sigma Defense Systems LLC. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Support SMWDC Headquarters with capability assessments across SMWDC-owned mission area capabilities.
• Contribute to the enhancement of warfare training and readiness in surface, air, and mine warfare mission areas.
• Apply naval career experience to improve warfighting readiness and tactical proficiency of the Surface Force.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent experience as a Qualified SWO
• 5+ years of recent experience in technical writing or writing Project Objective Memorandum (POM) issues
• 3+ years of recent experience in the acquisition community or with the Government's POM process
• 5+ years of experience with Combat Systems; its components and instructions (preferred)
• Experience with Staff and Fleet operations and planning procedures
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Personnel Clearance Level: Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance. A clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 annually.
