The full pay range for this role is $118,400 - $197,300 annually. We generally base our salary decisions on factors such as internal equity, candidate work and/leadership experience, educational credentials, and in some cases, candidate work location.
The Solutions Architect is responsible for providing hands-on, technical leadership within the Digital Infrastructure group as a recognized expert in IT systems engineering solution development. This role is primarily business-facing, working with other groups inside EDF Renewables to design, and document solutions to meet business needs. Additionally, this role is responsible for working with subject matter experts to maintain design and plans for existing systems and environments and develop roadmaps for the future. EDF Renewables' infrastructure is located throughout North America. These operations include wind and solar power generation plants and energy storage facilities owned and/or managed by EDF RE and all data center and cloud operations environments. Additional responsibilities include working collaboratively with other technology architects, corporate business users and other technical contributors. The Solutions Architect also leads the design and support of EDF systems compliance within our regulated NERC CIP environment.

90% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. 10% of time is spent outside of the office visiting vendors and internal sites in addition to attending various conferences and meetings.
Able to develop financial plans for projects up to $2M.
Ability to lift 50lbs in order to install and manage hardware.
