Overview

Position: Director of Engineering Services. Based in California (remote with travel to client sites and company offices as needed). We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering Services to lead our technical teams and drive the development of cutting-edge solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Engineering Services team in designing, deploying, and supporting advanced IT solutions using Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, and Extreme Networks technologies.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, scalability, and service delivery for clients.
• Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and develop tailored network designs prioritizing performance, security, and reliability.
• Ensure all solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
• Drive professional development and training for the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Maintain and build relationships with key technology partners, including Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, and Extreme Networks, to ensure the company stays ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT engineering, with a focus on network design and implementation.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, and Extreme Networks technologies, including switches, routers, wireless networks, and security solutions.
• Proven ability to design and implement complex network infrastructures.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical teams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within California as needed.

Preferred

• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Aruba Certified Design Professional (ACDP), Fortinet NSE, or Extreme Networks Certified Professional (ENCP).
• Experience managing vendor partnerships and staying updated on industry advancements.
• Familiarity with structured cabling and physical layer technologies.
• Knowledge of public sector technology solutions, including education and government environments.
