Job description
At C3, our Client Managers are key in providing our clients with the experience that sets C3 apart in the industry. Client Managers provide fast, effective service for the day-to-day needs of our mid-sized and moderately complex clients by being knowledgeable in coverages, carrier guidelines, underwriting, and legislative changes, maintaining relationships with clients and carrier representatives and assisting in suggesting new lines of coverage for existing clients.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main, day-to-day contact for clients in your book.
- Prepare Applications and other documents required for submissions.
- Perform Contract reviews for insurance requirements compliance.
- Prepare Certificates of Insurance, Invoices, and Finance Agreements.
- Process Endorsements, Audits.
- Analyze and compare current exposures to develop renewal or new business specifications for marketing.
- Conduct marketing, negotiate rates, and review quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy.
- Review and summarize marketing results and prepare proposals.
- Monitor and manage the renewal marketing and bind process, in partnership with the Producer (and at times with a Client Executive).
- Check binders, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
- Prepare summaries and/or schedules of coverage for clients.
- Participate in the claims process, including claim submission, follow-up, and overall communication.
- Ensure financial aspects related to invoicing and premium financing are performed correctly and timely.
- Maintain files in accordance with company policy and professional standards outlined by the Department of Insurance.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills for both client and internal communication.
Qualifications
- You are highly regarded by producers and clients for consistently delivering excellent service.
- 5+ years of experience in new and renewal marketing, placement, and policy delivery.
- Proficient servicing of accounts (endorsements, audits, invoicing, etc.).
- Attention to detail, organization, strong math, and solid written and oral communication skills.
- Technology-savvy with quick learning ability.
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to take on additional duties as needed.
- Active P&C license required. College degree is beneficial but not required; insurance designation is a plus.
- Experience managing multi and complex lines of business, international exposure, and specialty lines.
- Experience with Life and Tech Science accounts is preferred, but not required.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $100,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Work environment
- You must be able to use a keyboard and other office equipment.
- Willing to travel to client sites; occasional overnight stays on out-of-state site visits may be required.
