We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join Serco's Naval Acquisition and Sustainment Operation (NASO). A successful candidate will oversee engineering and technical services supporting maintenance, overhaul, and repair of equipment and systems related to U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers (CVNs) and Surface Ships.

This position requires maintaining a DoD Secret level clearance.

Serco's NASO is part of our Maritime, Engineering, Technology, and Sustainment Business Unit, providing critical services to U.S. Navy surface ships and submarines. We have over 9,000 employees across North America, committed to long-term partnerships with government clients.

In this role, you will:

  1. Lead teams providing technical guidance on Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) and aviation equipment and systems, including damage control, climate systems, piping, electrical generation, and distribution.
  2. Oversee inspections, examinations, analysis, and repairs related to naval propulsion and auxiliary machinery, including systems of nuclear and non-nuclear ships.
  3. Coordinate with the ship's reactor department before inspections and testing.
  4. Manage teams supporting fault identification and repairs on propulsion, auxiliary, and aviation systems.
  5. Provide technical support to Ship's Force for operation, overhaul, and repair of systems as directed.
  6. Supervise corrosion control and maintenance activities, including training, inspection, and reporting on tanks, voids, and related systems.
  7. Develop and deliver training packages and formal work packages in line with maintenance manuals.
  8. Manage personnel supporting short-term and long-term efforts.
  9. Build positive relationships with stakeholders.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of related experience or an Associate's Degree with 14+ years, supervisory experience in Navy ship maintenance or design, and a current DoD security clearance. U.S. citizenship and up to 25% travel are required. Ideal candidates have Navy Engineering Duty Officer experience, working with major shipyards, and detailed knowledge of ship systems.

Serco considers various factors when extending offers, with a salary range of $95,604.60 to $115,000. This position is contingent upon contract award and candidate qualifications.
