Overview

Telecommunications Network Engineer, First Shift or Third Shift. Requires Active Top Secret Security Clearance. This role supports the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and involves telecom engineering and operational support for current and new technologies to LAN systems, ensuring the technical integrity of the system baseline throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support wired and wireless LAN functions with telecom engineering expertise.
• Manage and ensure the technical integrity of the system baseline over time, updating it as changes are imposed from development through deployment, operations, and maintenance.
• Design, engineer, interface, integrate, and test complex hardware/software systems related to voice, data, and network services.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of network operations experience. Higher level education or military service can be used in lieu of two (2) years of experience.
• Experience in telecommunications network design and management.
• Experience in analysis and design of voice networks, LAN/WAN data networks, wireless networks, and/or network management systems supporting voice and data services.
• Experience in performing, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems.

Certifications

• IA Level: IAT-II. One of the following: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH.
• And one of the following: CCSE NGX, CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, SCNA, CCSE NGX Plus NG with AI, CCMSE NG with AI, CSMSE NG with AI Plus VSX, NSA, ESE.

• $80,000 - $90,000
