Position
The Corporate Initiatives Analyst plays an important role in the organization by performing a number of activities related to the company's corporate functions. The role, under the direction of the Director of Corporate Initiatives, will support stakeholders across Corporate with projects, reporting and ad-hoc requests. Some ongoing initiatives that will be supported by this role include but are not limited to, portfolio retention reporting, reporting and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, production, sales and FTE reporting. Additionally, this role may support any initiative that aligns with the strategic goals of corporate.
Compensation
This role is an exempt position with a Targeted Salary Range of $60,000 to $90,000 annually. Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant's geographical location.
Essential Functions
- Maintain and enhance the lead model for Guild's servicing portfolio, utilizing, and incorporating large data sets from both internal and external data sources.
- Maintain and enhance lead generation efforts to support portfolio retention efforts.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis on an individual level, utilizing all applicable factors, variables, and market information accordingly.
- Effectively communicate information to management by assembling and summarizing data and preparing reports.
- Maximize loan portfolio performance in line with the company's business objectives.
- Perform ad hoc analysis as required.
- Formulate forecasts of future economic developments with regards to residential mortgage(s).
- Responsible for utilizing data from studies/surveys that will inform business decisions and identify opportunities for increased retention.
- Support other corporate initiatives outside of Portfolio Retention as time permits.
- Act as SME for Portfolio Retention to interface with other lines of business to support joint projects/initiatives.
- Create and maintain comprehensive reporting; generally, in an automated/refreshable manner.
- Deliver presentations to management that reflect findings, analyses, and recommendations decision making.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Accounting, Economics, or directly related field to the position or equivalent, preferred.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum five years' experience directly related experience required.
- Technically and quantitatively oriented and may possess a degree in applied mathematics/statistics.
- Analytic Modeling Focus, preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large sets of data.
- Advanced- Expert level Excel skills required.
- Experience with SQL required.
- Power BI, preferred.
- VBA experience, preferred.
- Powershell experience, preferred.
- Experience prompting AI, preferred.
- Ability to adapt to a growing and dynamic environment.
- Effective time management skills including the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Ability to work independently with the self-motivation to accomplish goals.
- Ability to manage communication with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail.

Requirements
- Physical: Work is primarily sedentary; mobility in an office setting.
- Manual Dexterity: Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
- Audio/Visual: Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings at a volume consistent with interpersonal conversation. Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio, e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media.
- Environmental: Office environment – moderate noise, no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
- Travel: 5 - 10%
- Mental: Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, and make timely decisions in the context of a workflow. This role requires effective adaptation to workplace stressors, including customer service complaints, security responsibilities, and competing priorities. Must be able to adhere to process protocol. Must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner.
