Duration: 12 Months contract

Total Hours/week: 40

Work hours: 6:00AM-2:30PM or 2:00PM-10:30PM

Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only)

Responsibilities

  • The Scientist I is expected to work independently, performing all laboratory multitask functions involved in Conjugation.
  • The person directly reports to the immediate supervisor, assisting with day-to-day laboratory operations.
  • Responsible for direct problem solving tasks and following through on assignments.
  • Complete single and multiple step conjugations with good quality and yield in a timely manner.
  • Finish assignments on time to help keep up with conjugation productivity.
  • Be able to perform different conjugation formats accurately and independently, with understanding of the techniques, theories and background involved in the processes.
  • Maintain consistency in technique, documentation, data entry, labeling, QC samples, equipment operation, and meeting production specifications.
  • Follow departmental guidelines and procedures; promote a safe work environment; participate in Environmental Health & Safety programs.
  • Address issues during batch record and other document review to minimize impact to the business.
  • Participate in lab supply orders, reagent preparations, and equipment maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge in biology, biochemistry or related discipline.
  • Familiarity with operation of routine laboratory instruments and applicable software.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to follow established policies and procedures.
  • Strong organization and planning skills to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Ability to keep neat, accurate records and logs.
  • Flexibility and adaptability; knowledge of general laboratory safety.

Education And Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a biological science discipline.
  • Minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience.
