Reporting through National Accounts within BD Specimen Management, the Business Solutions Manager will have responsibilities across Specimen Management and BDX, including Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) and key account management activities. You will collaborate with large hospital systems, labs, Sales, and Marketing to develop and execute contracting and pricing strategies that support business objectives. You will work across National GPOs, Region GPOs, Local Pricing agreements, and OEM Contracting throughout the US, and will partner with the Strategic Customer Group, Marketing, and Finance to achieve pricing targets.
We are looking for an experienced people leader with a track record in strategic selling and contracting procedures for large accounts. Prior experience in a large, matrix organization in the medical products market and with GPOs is preferred. You should have proven leadership, financial analysis and modeling, and sales strategy development capabilities, with strong influencing skills and the ability to build internal and external partnerships. You are a strategic problem-solver who seeks alternative solutions to increase business opportunities. A solid understanding of pricing strategies, guardrail management, and distribution management (global logistics) is desirable.
Note: At BD, on-site collaboration is valued. Many roles require a minimum of 4 days in-office per week; remote or field-based arrangements may vary and will be indicated in the posting. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package; salary ranges vary by location and experience. Specific salary for this role is $150k–$200k annual base plus incentive.
