Mailroom Clerk
San Diego, CA (onsite)
12 months contract (temp to perm)
M-F (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Responsibilities
Operate high-volume copy, scan, and imaging equipment
Use MS Office, email, and document handling software
Sort, scan, and distribute incoming/outgoing mail and packages
Perform mail runs and maintain mail logs
Respond to service requests and email inquiries
Deliver print jobs and packages across the site
Maintain copier functionality; clear jams and report issues
Assist with binding, finishing, and basic print production tasks
Perform meeting room setups and light building support tasks
Track usage data, supply inventory, and job charges
Occasional cleaning or re-lamping as needed
May involve walking between buildings, long periods of standing, and lifting up to 55 lbs
May require pushing/pulling equipment on wheels up to 700 lbs
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
1 2 years of related experience in mailroom, administrative, or office support roles
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic computer skills; familiarity with email and MS Office
Organizational and time-management abilities
Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift for extended periods
No driving required
