Base pay range

$65.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Overview

The Sr. Software Dev Engineer is a full-stack development position. You will be a core member of a fast-paced engineering team, responsible for expanding our Kiosk applications, services, databases, and firmware. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of new product features, adhering to and establishing release schedules, and for providing support to existing systems. In addition, you will oversee enhancements and maintenance of the Kiosk firmware which controls certain hardware components of the Kiosk.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate on cross-functional agile teams that include Product Owners, QA Engineers, Data Engineers, and fellow Software Engineers to design and implement the next generations of Kiosk applications and services primarily in C# .NET
• Enhance and maintain the Kiosk firmware written in C
• Participate in our agile/scrum software engineering processes
• Implement well-architected, well-documented, high-quality code at a fast pace
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high performing services to support our global kiosk network
• Mentor other team members on software development best practices

Education & Experience

• BS/MS in Computer Science or 4+ years of equivalent work experience
• 8+ years overall software technology experience including development and maintenance of large-scale enterprise applications

Required Technical Competencies

• In depth knowledge of C# .NET and/or Java
• Working knowledge of C
• Experience integrating with hardware systems, firmware, or libraries
• Proficiency in Desktop and Web based applications
• Experience with WPF/MVVM
• Knowledge of design patterns and engineering best practices
• Integrating with REST APIs & JSON
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Experience with Windows Services

Preferred Technical Experience

• Basic knowledge of Python
• CI/CD process with GitHub, Jenkins, and Artifactory
• Interfacing with a variety of AWS managed services and databases
• Authorization and Authentication solutions (OAUTH, API Gateway)
