Job Overview:

As an Event Coordinator, you will:

• Manage all aspects of event documentation and collaborate with sales and various departments to deliver a seamless service experience during all event phases.
• Handle events of average complexity while maximizing revenue through up-selling and enhancements.
• Ensure smooth transitions from sales to service and back, while addressing any operational challenges that arise.
• Engage with clients throughout the event process, offering support and handling any issues to create a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee event logistics to ensure a seamless execution by coordinating with the event operations team.
2. Greet and assist customers during the event and maintain ongoing communication.
3. Conduct billing reviews with clients to ensure accuracy prior to final billing.
4. Manage group room blocks and meeting spaces for various events, including site inspections and follow-up after events.
5. Provide excellent customer service while leading meetings and workshops related to events.
6. Gather feedback from clients and property staff to continuously improve processes and experiences.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have:

• A high school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of event management experience, or a 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, or related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead event management teams.
• A customer-focused mindset and the ability to handle guest issues effectively.
