The American Institute of Certified Tax Planners is an independent, not-for-profit corporation which trains and certifies tax professionals in proactive tax planning. The organization administers the Certified Tax Coach, Certified Tax Planner and Certified Tax Strategist designations, upholds a strict Code of Ethics to ensure the highest standards of integrity and excellence among its members, and offers a network of resources, ongoing education, and joint venture opportunities. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the member relations department, ensuring programs run smoothly and members feel supported.
- Supervise and coordinate multiple membership programs (Software, training, masterminding, newsletter programs to name a few).
- Plan, organize, and execute member events, including academies, reunions, and live trainings. This includes 6 live in-person events per year and approximately 1 web event weekly (Project plans? We have this down like clockwork).
- Facilitate program launches, marketing campaigns, reporting, feature development, and ongoing maintenance. You'll be doing this with your support team including tech and admin support.
- Serve as liaison between members, coaches, contractors, and vendors.
- Oversee member onboarding, outreach, engagement tracking, and retention strategies.
- Maintain program budgets, financial reporting, and expense tracking for events.
- Produce regular usage, engagement, and marketing reports for team meetings.
- Ensure consistent and timely member communications across all platforms.
- Supervise member relations admin and interns, assigning tasks and tracking progress.
- Update website with relevant program and sales information by coordinating with our tech team.
- Collect and share member feedback, testimonials, and participation data.
Core Skills & Attributes
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills; warm, approachable, and a good listener.
- Organization: Highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, CRM systems (Infusionsoft/Keap, Ontraport), and familiarity with video editing tools like Camtasia is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Resourceful, anticipates needs, and finds solutions with minimal drama.
- Leadership: Team player who can supervise staff, coordinate cross-functional projects, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Integrity & Professionalism: Highest level of ethics, confidentiality, and follow-through.

- Event Management: Skilled at planning and executing both virtual and in-person events.
Job Type: Full-time, in our beautiful spa like office in San Diego, CA
Pay: $68,116.80 - $82,033.13 per year
