Overview

As a Field Service Engineer Lead at Trident Maritime Systems, I oversee shipboard and shore-based support for advanced mechanical, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled systems installed aboard U.S. Navy vessels.

Responsibilities

• Lead field engineering operations for hydraulic, electrical, and PLC-based control systems aboard Navy vessels.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, calibration, and testing of heavy equipment such as cranes, elevators, and automated lift systems.
• Supervise system alignments, upgrades, and detailed technical reporting for fleet-wide maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering and quality teams to ensure all upgrades and repairs meet performance and safety standards.
• Provide on-site technical training and mentorship for junior engineers and technicians.
• Manage project scheduling, parts tracking, and cross-team communication to maintain operational readiness.
