Overview

A law firm seeks an Environmental Associate Attorney to join its Environmental and Natural Resources Group in San Diego, California. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in environmental litigation and regulatory matters.

Duties

• Represent clients in environmental litigation in federal and state courts.
• Handle a wide range of environmental regulatory defense and administrative enforcement matters.
• Provide environmental regulatory, administrative enforcement, and transactional counseling.
• Collaborate effectively within a team and work independently as needed.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in environmental law.
• Experience with CERCLA, RCRA, the Clean Air Act, and the Clean Water Act.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
