Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience managing staff in a retail or corporate environment
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in product or service sales in a direct‑to‑consumer setting
  • Passion for health and fitness – no formal fitness experience required
  • Valid Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within first few weeks of hire
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Experience with strength training applications, client progress charting, and basic nutrition knowledge is a plus
  • Strong people skills and communication; ability to convey enthusiasm while working with clients and coaches
  • Preferred candidates with personal training or group fitness experience and/or a degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or physical education

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead studio culture and coach development: manage coaches, foster a collaborative, team‑first mentality, and serve as a positive role model towards clients and team members.
  • Assist with team hiring, training, and development: recruit, train, and develop high‑performing team members and coach staff on delivering exceptional customer service and client transformation.
  • Drive sales and business growth: serve as a sales leader, converting leads into members, and contribute towards monthly new client and retention goals.
  • Oversee client experience and retention: conduct initial consultations, promote engagement, and adjust exercise programs to facilitate client transformation.
  • Manage operational and administrative duties: maintain client accounts, contracts, billing, scheduling, and ensure the studio remains clean, organized, and compliant with brand guidelines.
  • Communicate regularly with the studio owner on all aspects of the business, taking initiative where needed.
