About the Role

Were looking for a Senior Accountant who can work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Youll work directly with the CEO, taking full ownership of the company's accounting cycle, designing and improving processes, and laying the foundation for your future team.

This is a unique opportunity for a driven, hands-on accountant who wants to shape the financial backbone of a rapidly expanding restaurant group.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support rapid growth.
• Review journal entries to properly account for general ledger
• Coordinate and gather support for complex accounting projects and reporting initiatives
• Keep track of and interact with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Prepare and review regulatory banking reports
• Compile monthly and quarterly accounting close and review
• Assist in integration and automation of financial applications
• Mentor and eventually hire and manage a growing accounting team as the company scales

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of accounting experience (Restaurant or Hospitality industry experience strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Comfortable navigating change and ambiguity
• Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines
• Technological proficiency, including Microsoft Suite and other chosen accounting software
