About the Role

As an IT Project Manager, you will dive into complex business challenges supporting our Cyber Security and Infrastructure teams, crafting automated system solutions that propel our organization forward. From executing unit integration and acceptance testing to designing specifications that align with user needs, your expertise will be instrumental in our success. Your Contributions
- Participate on project teams supporting application implementation, administration, and support.
- Review and assist in the development of processes required for the successful implementation of key software systems.
- Provide support for the management of data from multiple sources and databases for eventual submission to multiple regulatory agencies.
- Interact with Cyber Security and Infrastructure departments on issues relating to electronic submissions.
- Support evaluation and implementation of additional technologies that may improve the overall quality of systems throughout all departments.
- Consult with department representatives to determine requirements for data access, reports, and interfaces.
- Interact with department managers and work with main system users to assess implementation of data management/interface tools, including regulatory and validation requirements for all Clinical/Regulatory data management projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree in computer science, IT, or a similar field and 2+ years of IT experience; working in a pharmaceutical company with exposure to FDA regulations preferred.
- Recent experience implementing and supporting business applications, including Microsoft applications, utilizing technologies such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, Java, Visual Basic, MS Access, MS Project, IIS, Internet Explorer, and advanced web technologies such as HTML, XML, SGML, Dynamic HTML, JavaScript, VBScript.
- Experience supporting validated applications for regulatory purposes in a biotech/pharmaceutical company preferred.
- Some experience with web application technology, electronic document management systems, electronic publishing systems for regulatory filings, and exposure to database technologies and data warehousing/data mining.
- Master's degree in computer science or IT preferred.
- PMP certification or working toward it.
- Comfort with tools and processes that support work conducted by functional areas.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications, database and programming technologies.
- Ability to meet deadlines, motivate a cross‑functional business and technical project team, and exercise excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent decision‑making, conflict‑resolution, and influencing skills.
- Good knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, XML, or the latest markup language.
- Visual Basic, Java, or similar language and Internet database programming experience.
- Familiarity with web application technology, electronic document management systems, electronic publishing systems for regulatory filings, and exposure to database technologies and data warehousing/data mining.
- Understanding of Neurocrine's business objectives and developing understanding of Neurocrine's services and customers.
- Experience in a specific functional discipline while working to acquire higher‑level knowledge and skills.
