Position description

The Department of Mathematics, within the School of Physical Sciences at the University of California, San Diego, invites applications for the Stefan E. Warschawski Visiting Assistant Professorships in all areas of Mathematics, Statistics, and related topics. All positions are subject to availability of funding. These positions are aimed at new and recent PhDs whose work demonstrates strong potential in mathematical research. These positions are three-year nonrenewable appointments.

Teaching in Mathematics, Statistics, and related topics is expected at a load of four quarter courses per year, with lecture courses at undergraduate upper and lower division levels.
