Responsibilities

  • Manage Front Desk and Rooms department and act as the 'face' of the company to ensure visitors receive a heartwarming welcome
  • Coordinate all front desk activities, including calls, reservations and guest services
  • Train, supervise and support front office staff
  • Assist with breakfast as needed
  • Assist in Housekeeping as needed, acting as relief housekeeping supervisor
  • Schedule shifts
  • Ensure timely and accurate customer service
  • Handle complaints and specific customer requests
  • Troubleshoot emergencies
  • Monitor stock and order office supplies
  • Ensure proper mail distribution

Qualifications

  • 2 years supervisory experience in hospitality
  • Ability to organize multiple projects; manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of computers and software including the ability to use e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet software and hotel management system
