Base pay range

$200,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr

Scope of Responsibilities

As a TSIA Senior Account Executive, your primary responsibilities include acquiring new members for the TSIA business. You will manage a defined territory and collaborate with a team to identify and cultivate opportunities with new customers. A critical aspect of this role is the ability to communicate TSIAs value proposition effectively and professionally to senior executives, as this position involves high-value consultative sales.

TSIA offers research and data-driven advisory services to technology and services companies. This role requires deep expertise in the technology sector, including product-related services. Given our research-intensive nature, expect a steep learning curve to become proficient with our solutions.

You will work alongside a team to source and qualify key executives for TSIA membership. Your responsibilities will include conducting executive discovery discussions, engaging in research discussions, providing insights to address critical executive-level challenges, and advancing the sales process to finalize membership agreements. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders will be essential.

In this role, you will develop and execute your territory or industry sector plan, participate in various sales campaigns and programs, and analyze sales metrics such as ratios, calls, emails, and other performance indicators. Ultimately, you will be responsible for achieving the bookings targets for your territory.

Attributes for Success

A successful account executive at TSIA will demonstrate the ability to tenaciously manage sales pursuits with senior executives of both large and small companies. The ability to communicate effectively, inclusive of exceptional phone and writing skills, is required. Persistence and codifying a value return on investment are critical as the sales cycles can be 3-9 months. It is very important that the candidate be a team player with the ability to interact and engage many other business groups at TSIA.

Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years minimum experience in enterprise solution business development, sales or management consulting is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, preferably with BDRs.
  • Sound understanding of business, business operations, finance and strategy.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills working with senior executives of large global companies.
  • Excellent listening skills, objection handling, and negotiation skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through, able to manage schedules efficiently and effectively.
  • Experience with inside sales tools like cadence tools, work optimization, contact data base and SFDC.
  • BA, BS or MBA preferred.

Position Location

Headquarters in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego, CA. Remote, preferably within commuting distance of HQ. No relocation reimbursement available. Little to no travel required.
