Google's software engineers develop the next‑generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. We need engineers who are versatile, display leadership qualities, and are enthusiastic about taking on new problems across the full stack.
With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions, and drive the architecture of camera firmware and the Android Camera HAL for Pixel phones. You will develop the software stack for Android Camera Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL), optimize camera performance, power, and memory, and oversee hardware driver development for device IPs.
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $197,000–$291,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Compensation details reflect the base salary only and do not include bonuses, equity, or benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
