Overview

JST is currently seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst (POD) (HCA function) to join our team. This is a full-time onsite position with potential hybrid/remote work at Defense Health Agency (DHA) offices in San Diego, California. Senior Procurement Analyst Responsibilities

• Exceptional knowledge or understanding of direct federal procurement in GS-1102 (or similar) capacity with extensive knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) procurement policy.
• Responsible for all phases of acquisition management.
• Utilize price and cost analysis to review proposals against history, actual and estimated expenditures, and established rates to determine price reasonableness or to determine a negotiation position.
• Use methods and techniques of fact-finding, analysis, and resolution of complex problems; develop concrete action plans to solve problems.
• Work with Federal and DoD contracting principles (FAR/DFARS), DoD Directives and Instructions, laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Provide expert technical advice, staff coordination and consultation to assist in formulating guidelines, implementing new developments, and providing expert interpretation.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

Senior Procurement Analyst Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with direct federal procurement in GS-1102 (or similar) capacity with extensive knowledge of DoD procurement policy.
• Experience with all phases of acquisition management.
• Experience with price and cost analysis, actual and estimated expenditures.
• Experience with Federal and DoD contracting principles (FAR/DFARS), DoD Directives and Instructions, laws, regulations, and procedures.

Required Clearances And Screenings

• Must be able to pass a US Government Security Clearance.
