Job Title: Part-Time Data Entry Clerk
Location: San Diego, CA
Type: Short-Term Contract (1-4 months)
Schedule: Part-time, 25-30 hours per week (Flexible hours between 8am-5pm)
Pay Rate: $20-$23/hour
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role:
Our client is a trusted provider of calibration and lab services, is seeking a Part-Time Data Entry Clerk to support their San Diego lab team while a team member is out on leave. This short-term contract role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter calibration data into our calibration management software to create and update customer and equipment records.
- Manage and process calibration work reports submitted by technicians.
- Create and update work orders and coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure accurate documentation and certificate creation.
- Revise records as needed per QA requirements.
- Handle general administrative tasks, including answering phones, sorting, scanning, and electronic filing of documents.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of related data entry or administrative experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
