Senior Buyer – ASML Foundation
San Diego, CA (Hybrid: 3 days office, 2 days remote)

Overview

As a senior procurement professional, you'll drive operational execution of procurement activities, secure material availability at the right cost, quality and time, and lead continuous improvement within our Supplier Operations department. Your expertise will shape supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and influence strategic sourcing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational procurement process for multiple suppliers and sourcing leads.
• Prepare and oversee supplier negotiations, including tactics, spend analysis, scripts and contract details.
• Resolve operational procurement issues and drive cost down / cost efficiency.
• Maintain master data control and track communication for full transparency.
• Build, maintain and extend sustainable relationships with suppliers, engineering and logistics stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience in procurement / sourcing or commercial role, preferably in a technology intensive industry.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and analytical skills.
• Proactive problem solving, resilience and ability to manage ambiguity.

Physical Demands

• Hybrid role requires in‑person events, training and occasional travel.
• Typical office duties: sit, walk, use hands, lift up to 20 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits

Base annual salary range: $65,250–108,750 (determined by role, level, location and market data.)

Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance; 401(k) plan; 8 hours vacation per month; 13 paid holidays.
