General Summary:

As a Qualcomm Software Application Engineer, you will provide technical expertise of software systems through technical presentations in support of business development, product demonstrations, design and development of customer specific requirements, commercialization, and maintenance of Qualcomm products. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross‑functional teams and customers to address questions, issues, debugging, or troubleshooting regarding software systems and applications.

Main Responsibilities:

ADAS AI Customer support. Deep Learning Models Compiling, Algorithm optimization, Performance Benchmark, AI application integration, AI framework integration, Graph and Backend Compiler Development. Model accuracy tuning, PTQ/QAT quantization fine‑tune.

Skills / Experience Required:

1. Good knowledge for software development and debug.
2. C++/Python/Java programming experience.
3. Be familiar with one or more AI frameworks like Tensorflow, Pytorch, Mxnet, Caffee2, ONNX.
4. Be familiar with major machine learning and deep learning technologies such as CNN, LSTM, RNN, Transformer, LLM, and know how to perform computing benchmark tests like MLPerf.
5. Be familiar with major AI accelerator chip architecture, like GPU card or data center experience.
6. Be familiar with PTQ and QAT workflow and algorithm, has experience of model accuracy fine‑tune.
7. Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Education Requirements:

BS in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronic, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, MS preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
